Find Your Calm Floating At A New Spirit

There’s something magical about floating. You know that moment. When you’re about to fall asleep. Your body feels heavy and relaxed. Your mind is calm. All the noise from the day slips away. There are no emails to reply to. There are no problems to solve. That moment. That is what floating in a half ton of Epsom salt in a float tank is like.

According to Nathaniel Morris in his article, ‘My patients said floating in a sensory deprivation tank was healing. So I tried it.’ he noted “More recent research has focused on using flotation tanks to help people who suffer from medical conditions. A number of studies have shown floating may be useful for people who experience chronic pain disorders. Some evidence suggests patients with generalized anxiety disorders may benefit from floating. Researchers are exploring whether floating might serve as a treatment for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.” And there’s good reasoning why many researchers and doctors have taken notice. The results of floating are simply astounding.

Float Your Stress and Pain Away

What does a typical day look like for you? Does it involve constant alerts and pressure to be responsive and on all the time. And what are the side effects to your health and wellbeing? Like most of us, our neck and shoulders become tense, we have difficulty sleeping, and we experience a heightened sense of anxiety. Floating allows you to reconnect with yourself. Floating allows you to pause and truly escape the daily demands most of us face.

How you spend your time floating is up to you. You may try to quiet the mind through meditation or you may finally give attention and thought to a creative project you have been putting off. As your imagination wanders, stress and anxiety melt away. Silence is a natural anti-stress remedy. The feeling of laying back effortlessly in the warm Epsom salt float tank and drifting into a blissful, deep, meditative state is unbelievably rejuvenating.

Your body feels light and weightless, like never before. Your body feels revived and strong. The body aches and pains subside. Your back, knees, and hips finally feel good again. If you’ve had surgery, back pain from a pregnancy, or any other kind of physical pain, the feeling of weightlessness and less pressure on your body is phenomenal.
